Hospice services will be provided through Calvary Hospital's 25 bed Brooklyn campus at Lutheran Medical Center, as well as Calvary@Home Home Hospice care in people's homes and at three nursing facilities in Brooklyn:  Bishop Francis J Mugavero Health Center for Geriatric Care; Cobble Hill Health Center; and Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care & Rehabilitation.  Calvary Hospital also offers weekly bereavement support groups for adults in downtown Brooklyn.

In all of its care, Calvary seeks not only to treat terminally ill cancer patients with state-of-the-art technology and therapies, but also bring healing to the person experiencing this disease through a variety of pastoral, psychological, nutritional, and other support services.  Local community, church, and private organizations have scheduled presentations on behalf of the Foundation to inform their memberships of the services available through comprehensive end-of-life care.

The Circle of Hope Cancer Foundation is valuable to every human being.  There are resources available to both terminally ill patients and their families, and it is the Foundation's intention to make everyone aware of these resources.

As stated previously, the Foundation is committed to the victims of this horrific disease.  It is our belief that all individuals having a limited time left on this earth should have the opportunity to die as they lived.........with "DIGNITY".  After all, CANCER does not care who its next victim is and as human beings, no one can conquer this disease by themselves.
